I have also practiced painting, installation and drawing since 1995. My multimedia installations form mobile and sound environments, encounters of archaic forms and illusionist games. The sculpted forms are made of straw encrusted with hundreds of thousands of copper staples which catch the light. My pictorial work is characterized by very lively frontal compositions with strong colored tensions produced over a very short time. The same formal vocabulary travels, transforming from one room to another like an interrupted conversation. My drawings in 2011 were made on the impulse of a short period of time, with limited graphic tools. I sought the accuracy of the moment in the variety and succession of emotions and thoughts that nourish the spatial configurations. Since 2015, I have continued this work with oil pastel on paper with larger formats.
